Reporting instructions for the trial term commencing

February 24, 2020

Reporting Day:  Monday, February 24th 

(3) Messages:

1).....Jurors with ID #'s 1 - 161 are to report to the Albany County Judicial Center, 1st floor Jury Assembly Room on Monday, February 24, 2020 by 8:45am.

(The Albany County Judicial Center is located directly behind the County Courthouse. The street address for the Judicial Center is 6 Lodge Street. The building will open to the public at 8:30am.) 

2).....Jurors with ID #'s 162 -  353 are to report to the Albany County Courthouse, 3rd floor Courtroom #330 on Monday, February 24, 2020 by 9:00am.

(The street address for the County Courthouse is 16 Eagle Street; however, jurors reporting for service are to use the back entrance (Lodge Street) to the building. The Courthouse will open to the public at 8:30am.)  


3).....Jurors with ID #'s 356 - 400 are required to check this site on Monday after 5:00p for Tuesday's reporting instructions.

General Information


Absence of Emergency: If illness or emergency prevents you from reporting, please call our office at 518-285-8900 after 8:30 am on the day you are to report.

Accessibility: If you have a disability and need accommodation, please call 518-285-8900 or 1-800-662-1220 for relay call.

Court Hours: Court normally operates from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm., with a lunch hour and breaks throughout the day.  Court sessions rarely continue beyond 5:00 pm

Electronics: Cell phones and other electronic devices may be used in the jury assembly rooms and other waiting areas.  They must be turned off during jury selection and trial activity.  There is public WI-FI access available in the Albany County Judicial Center, 1st Floor-Jury Assembly Room and the Albany County Courthouse, 3rd Floor-Jury Assembly Room. 

Meals: There is a mid-day lunch break everyday.

Parking/Transportation: The court does not pay or reimburse transportation fares, parking fees or parking violations.  Discounted parking is offered at the Hilton Hotel garage (corner of Lodge Street and Pine Street, Albany), please see Commissioner of Jurors' staff at your reporting location.

Security: The Albany County Sheriffs Dept. or NYS Court Officers are present throughout the court facilities. Members of the public must pass through a magnetometer to enter.  Weapons and other dangerous instruments are prohibited in our court facilities. Please arrive early and allow extra time for this process.
