COUNTY COURT GRAND JURORS WITH THE INITIAL REPORTING DATE OF
NOVEMBER 2nd, 2020
Please be advised that the Grand Jury will not be meeting on Thursday, December 24th, 2020. There is no Grand Jury this week. Please call the recording or check the web next Wednesday, December 30th, for reporting instructions for Thursday, December 31st, 2020. When you enter the court facility you will be subject to screening procedures by security personnel. This will include having your temperature checked and answering a series of questions. If you have been directed to self-monitor by a medical authority or an employer; or you have been diagnosed with the coronavirus; or you have serious flu symptoms (fever, cough, or shortness of breath), please do not appear at the courthouse for jury duty service. Report your situation to the Jury Office by phone or email. Your service will be temporarily postponed. These guidelines have been set forth by OCA to assure your safety considering the current pandemic.

General Information
Absence of Emergency: If illness or emergency prevents you from reporting, please call at 607-873-9449 after 8:30 am on the day you are to report.
Accessibility: If you have a disability and need accommodation, call 607-873-9449 or 1-800-662-1220 for relay calls.
Court Hours: Court normally operates from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm., with a lunch hour and breaks throughout the day. Court sessions rarely continue beyond 5:00 pm.
Electronics: Cell phones and other electronic devices may be used in the jury assembly rooms and other waiting areas. They must be turned off during jury selection and trial.
Meals: There is a mid-day lunch break everyday.
Parking/Transportation: The court does not pay for transportation fares, parking fees or parking violations. Parking is available at the Eastowne Parking Garage located on Baldwin Street at the rate of $5.00 per day.
Security: Court Officers are stationed throughout the court. Members of the public must pass through a magnetometer to enter. Please arrive early and allow extra time for this process. Do not bring any of the following items with you: knives, razors, box cutters, tools, defense spray, scissors, knitting needles, metal or glass bottles or mugs, cameras, metal nail files or steel toe shoes.
