Anyone that has tested positive for Covid-19 or has had direct contact with someone that has, will be denied entry. Anyone that has been advised or ordered to quarantine as a precaution for possible Covid-19 will be denied entry. Anyone approved for entry after the questioning will be required to provide their name and contact number.

Masks

All Court Visitors are required to wear a mask or face covering at all times while in the building. The mask must cover the mouth and nose. Anyone not having a mask will not be allowed entry into the building.

Face Shields

Face shields will be made available upon request to Witnesses and Jurors. Face Shields will be worn without a face mask for limited periods in any courtroom setting where the Judge deems it appropriate to view the facial features of the wearer. While wearing the face shield the user will store their mask in a paper bag or other appropriate container and shall wear the mask again when the need for the shield has ended.

Hand Sanitizer

Hand Sanitizer will be made available for public use.

Social Distancing

All court visitors will maintain a distance of 6 feet from other persons throughout the facility. This includes waiting rooms, offices, and courtrooms.

Capacity

The capacity of the waiting rooms and courtrooms have been significantly reduced to comply with the 6 foot social distancing requirement. Once the capacity of the waiting rooms is reached access to the facility will be paused by security until room is available to maintain Social Distances. There will be NO waiting or conferencing in any of the hallways.

Case Timing/planning

Attorneys and Litigants should not show up more the 5 minutes before the scheduled start of their case. Attorneys should not produce their witnesses until they are actually needed. Attorneys should limit the number of support personnel they bring to court with them to those that are absolutely necessary due to the severely reduced capacity of both the waiting areas and courtrooms. Social distancing must be maintained while waiting to enter the facility.
