Trial Jurors - Reporting Instructions: Wednesday , January 22, 2020

Trial Jurors with the ID numbers 158 - 286 you are to report on Wednesday, January 22

by 9:00 AM to the Jury Assembly Room located on the ground floor of

25 Delaware Avenue. 

 

Please note: You cannot enter the building before 8:30 AM.

 

Jurors, you must bring the entire summons (do not separate it) and complete

part H prior to your arrival.

 

Reporting Jurors are strongly discouraged from parking at  parking meters as court

schedules may not permit you time to replenish the meter.

 

Trial Jurors with the ID numbers 287-900  you are not to report on Wednesday.  You are to about your normal business but must check back to this site Wednesday evening after 6:00 PM for more information regarding Thursday.

 

Grand Juror are to report as scheduled for service.

NEVER GIVE OUT PERSONAL INFORMATION OVER THE TELEPHONE.

POSTPONEMENT REQUESTS MUST BE MADE WITHIN 10 DAYS AFTER RECEIVING YOUR SUMMONS.

General Information

Absence of Emergency: If illness or emergency prevents you from reporting, please call 716-845-2555 (press 5) after 8:30 am on the day you are to report.

Accessibility: If you have a disability and need accommodation, call 716-845-2555 (press 5) or 1-800-662-1220 for NYS Relay Service calls.

Court Hours: Court normally operates from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm., with a lunch hour and breaks throughout the day.  Court sessions rarely continue beyond 5:00 pm.  You cannot enter the building before 8:30 am.

Electronics: Cell phones and other electronic devices may be used in the jury assembly rooms and other waiting areas.  They must be turned off during jury selection and trial.  There is public access WIFI in the County courthouse.  There are also computer work stations in the assembly room.

Meals: There is a mid-day lunch break everyday.

Parking/Transportation: The court does not pay for transportation fares, parking fees or parking violations.  Reporting jurors are discouraged from parking at parking meters as court schedules may not permit you to replenish the meter. The Buffalo Grand Hotel (formerly Adam's Mark Hotel)  does offer a reduced parking rate for jurors. 

Security: Court Officers are stationed throughout the court.  Members of the public must pass through a magnetometer to enter.  Please arrive early and allow extra time for this process.
