Notice from the Commissioner of Jurors re: Coronavirus (COVID-19)
In light of public health concerns arising over the coronavirus, please note the following:

If you have been summoned for Trial jury duty, for any location in Nassau County beginning on
November 16th, 2020 and continuing until further notice: Please do not appear at the courthouse.

Jurors with a Trial Summons for the week of 12/7/20: Your service has been temporarily postponed and will be rescheduled. You will receive a new summons at a future date.
If you have been summoned for Grand Jury December 14, 2020:

Juror SEQ # 101-330: Report on Tuesday, December 15 at 9:30 AM

Juror SEQ# 331-430: Report on Tuesday, December 15 at 2:00 PM
If you have been summoned for Grand Jury for December 14, 2020 and sequence number has NOT been reached, your service is complete.
If you are a juror currently serving as a sworn in Grand Juror:

Trial Jurors - Reporting Instructions for: December 14, 2020

The Commissioner of Jurors thanks all jurors for your time, cooperation and contribution to our system of justice.
We never call and ask you for personal information. NEVER give out personal information over the telephone.
​
General Information
​
Absence of Emergency: If illness or emergency prevents you from reporting, please call at 516-493-3334 after 8:30 am on the day you are to report.
​
Accessibility: If you have a disability and need accommodation, call 516-493-3750 or 1-800-662-1220 for relay call.
​
Court Hours: Court normally operates from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm., with a lunch hour and breaks throughout the day. Court sessions rarely continue beyond 5:00 pm.
​
Electronics: Cell phones and other electronic devices may be used in the jury assembly rooms and other waiting areas. They must be turned off during jury selection and trial. There is public access WIFI in the County courthouse. There are also computer work stations in the jury assembly room.
​
Meals: There is a mid-day lunch break everyday.
​
Parking/Transportation: The court does not pay for transportation fares, parking fees or parking violations. Trial Jurors are to park in Field 14, behind the Supreme Courthouse.
​
Security: Court Officers are stationed throughout the court. Members of the public must pass through a magnetometer to enter. Please arrive early and allow extra time for this process.
