Term Date:  February 24, 2020 Trial Jury Term

The following February 24th Trial Jurors are to report at 9:15am on Monday, February 24th to Courtroom A in the Courthouse in Canton.  Please do not bring weapons, pocket knives or scissors to Court.  You will be identified in this message by the ID Number on your Summons.  Any Juror whose ID Number is not listed in this message is to check this website after 6:00pm on Monday, February 24th for further instructions.  

 

The Trial Jurors to report at 9:15am on Monday, February 24th are - the Jurors with ID Numbers of 1 through 175.

 

February 24, 2020 Grand Jurors - please report at 12:30pm to Courtroom C in the Courthouse in Canton.  This is the Grand Jurors with the ID Numbers of 502 through 585.

 

To All Jurors - Please give yourself extra time for parking.

General Information

Absence of Emergency: If illness or emergency prevents you from reporting, please call at 315-379-2270 after 8:30 am on the day you are to report.

Accessibility: If you have a disability and need accommodation, call 315-379-2270 or 1-800-622-1220 for relay call.

Court Hours: Court normally operates from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm., with a lunch hour and breaks throughout the day.  Court sessions rarely continue beyond 5:00 pm.

Electronics: Cell phones and other electronic devices may be used in the jury assembly rooms and other waiting areas.  They must be turned off during jury selection and trial.  There is public access WIFI in the County courthouse. 

Meals: There is a mid-day lunch break everyday.

Parking/Transportation: The court does not pay for transportation fares, parking fees or parking violations.  Parking is available in the Courthouse parking lot, and behind the Harold B. Smith Social Services Building on Judson Street.

Security: Court Officers are stationed throughout the court.  Members of the public must pass through a magnetometer to enter.  Please arrive early and allow extra time for this process.  Your cooperation and patience is greatly appreciated in this effort to keep our facilities safe.
