Trial Jurors - Reporting Instructions for:
Deputy Chief Administrative Judge of the State of New York, Hon. Vito C. Caruso has issued an order suspending new Grand Jury panels until further Order of the Court. In accordance with Section 190.15 of the Criminal Procedure Law, Hon. Kelly S. McKeighan has approved an application to extend the current Grand Jury's term until such time that a new Grand Jury is impaneled in the County of Washington.

All summoned jurors please call (518)746-2125 on the night prior to your reporting date for instructions on your jury service. If you need a postponement or to be excused, please call the number above at least 5 days prior to your summons date.
The Commissioner of Jurors would like to thank all jurors for your time, cooperation and contribution to our system of justice.
We never call and ask you for personal information. NEVER give out personal information over the telephone.
Absence of Emergency: If illness or emergency prevents you from reporting, please call at 518-746-2125 after 8:30 am on the day you are to report.

Court Hours: Court normally operates from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm., with a lunch hour and breaks throughout the day. Court sessions rarely continue beyond 5:00 pm. You cannot enter the building before 8:45 am.
Electronics: Cell phones and other electronic devices may be used in the jury assembly rooms and other waiting areas. They must be turned off during jury selection and trial. There is public access WIFI in the County courthouse. There are also computer work stations in the assembly room.
Meals: There is a mid-day lunch break everyday.
Parking/Transportation: The court does not pay for transportation fares, parking fees or parking violations. There is no fee for parking. All jurors should park in the parking lot directly north of the courthouse.
Security: Court Officers are stationed throughout the court. Members of the public must pass through a magnetometer to enter. Please arrive early and allow extra time for this process.
